Up until 1976 Wlad produced many series of some of his finest work: paintings about the Adelaide Christmas pageant, the Circus, a stay in Hospital for a broken leg, a series of abstracts based on the Australian landscape, and a number of festive paintings celebrating different cultures, such as his paintings of a Buddha, the Hare Krishnas, Papuans, tribal Aborigines and Asian migrants.

Thereafter, he started to suffer from age and lifestyle issues, and his output was less consistent, although occasionally mind-boggling.

Great web site – well done Adam. My parents bought 3 of Vlad’s paintings in the early 1970s and they are superb, still taking pride of place. They depict window washers, a paper boy and the third vaguely resembles ‘Industrial suburbs’ above. The book ‘A Matter of Mind’ now sits beneath one of them.

Hi Bill – sorry to take so long to respond – I honestly had forgotten how to get back in! I am no tech head!
If you can take the time to email some photos of the works I’d be very pleased to receive them.
Glad you enjoy the book as well.
      Best wishes,
      Adam Dutkiewicz
